Do you see that title up there? It amuses me far more than it should. Because…it’s a nerd outfit! That’s what it’s called, I’m not casting aspersions on an article of clothing.
I found it, I think, while I on a hunt. I often wander out of the hunt store into the neighbourhood to see what’s going on. In this case into a desert, but with a possible store in the distance I didn’t let a few sand dunes get in my way.
I’m not sure Second Life is good for us. I’m quite sure that if there is Armageddon I will do exactly what I do now when I land in an apocalyptic wasteland/Cthulhu-esque landscape or area 59 catastrophe zone – I will pick through the ruins in my stilettos checking for freebies. I don’t deign to put a gas-mask on (even though I’m sure I own several, including a fabulous bright pink one) and barely grant a moment of revulsion for the humans and animals that remain, statue-like, behind. I think if something bad is coming, I should at least buy canned beans. I like canned beans.
Maybe I should find out more about Cthulhu?

Free things! Many, many free things! I went to ALB (AnaLee Balut) to pick up some pretty gift dresses and happily realized there was much, much more to be had. (Search skills will be necessary, they are scattered all over.) She and her daughter, ShuShu Congrejo (owner of the various ShuShu stores) share a very pretty sim, full of many vignettes for photographing. Lots of items scattered around the sim are for sale too, including the vibrant caravan in one of my pictures (only 100L).
I have actually stopped by ALB many times over the years. In truth, I thought the clothes were a bit too unusual for me, but I have grown to appreciate the creativity and originality both women share. They are kind enough to offer wearable demos too, either free or for a small amount of Lindens, so the items below vary between those and gifts.
A couple of the hairs I am wearing were included in a gift box from Taketomi and were actually men’s hair. I popped them on just to see what I had, so I could send my male avatar over to fetch them, and quite liked them.
